Go Paperless: Get Your Rates Notice by Email

Property owners or their authorised representative in the City of Canada Bay can now choose to receive their Rates Notices via email instead of by post. It’s faster, more reliable, and better for the environment.

How it works

  • Register your email address and opt in using the online form below.
  • Once registered, you’ll receive your Rates Notices as a PDF via email.
  • Paper copies will no longer be sent by mail.
  • Use this form to cancel and re-subscribe with a new email address or recipient.

Important Notes

  • If your property is managed by a real estate agent listed in Council records, you cannot register for email delivery yourself.
  • Managing Agents must notify Council by emailing council@canadabay.nsw.gov.au for any change of address before registering on your behalf.
  • The managing agent receiving notices in bulk via email do not require to register for newly managed properties. They are automatically added to the existing list.
  • A separate registration is required for each property you own in the City of Canada Bay.
  • If your registration is rejected, it may be due to a mismatch with Council records (e.g. owner or agent details). Please email us so we can help clarify the reason to council@canadabay.nsw.gov.au

What you’ll need

  • A copy of your current Rates Notice.
  • Your Property ID (top right of your notice).
  • The property owner’s name exactly as shown on the notice.
  • Your email address.
  • (Optional) Your mobile number.

  2. Click the link in the email to verify your email address and complete registration. A confirmation email will be sent upon approval.
